All women want to look good, more so with their make-up. One thing that pops out of your face is your eyebrows. So how do you get the perfect looking brows like those you see in the fashion magazines? Below are some simple steps for you to achieve this.
First, if your eyebrows look too bushy or long, give it a trim. Use a round brow brush to brush upwards above the brow line. Trim any long hairs with a brow scissors. Regular scissors may not work as they are as sharp or small as the brow scissors. Now, brush your brow hairs downwards and trim any hairs that go below the arch.
Next, you need to locate your inner brow edge. To do this, get a pencil and lay it vertically along the right side of your nose. Where it meets your brow is where your inner brow edge should be. Mark it with the eyebrow pencil and repeat on your left side.
After that you need to locate your outer brow edge. Now hold the bottom of the pencil at the middle of your bottom lip and put the top of the pencil slanting out towards the outside edge of your eye. Mark this as the outer edge, which is where your brows should end.
Now you have to find your arch. Again hold the base of the pencil at the middle of your bottom lip. Now, slant your pencil until the inside edge lies at the outside edge of your iris (the colored part of your eye). The highest point of the arch would be where your brow meets the pencil.
Okay, now that you have a basic idea of where your brows should start and end, and where the arch should be, you can sketch in the shape using a brow liner. If you don’t have a brow liner, you can use brow powder and a round brush. Lightly sketch in the ideal eyebrows, and then use a white pencil or a concealer stick to mark the stray hairs that are beyond this shape.
Now you can start tweezing. Make sure you sit in front of a large mirror in a well lighted area. Natural light works best. Sterilize your tweezers with alcohol and tweeze any stray hairs one by one. Make sure you pull out hair in the direction of hair growth.
Once you do this for both sides, you will have the perfect looking brows!
